First of all my name is Gordon Snyder. I have many interests and like to think of myself as a well balanced geek. I am what some might consider a cinephilia (just in case you don't know what this is, it is the love of cinema). I don't know what exactly caught my interest but when I got a chance I started taking class based on film making. Between middle school and high school I took a summer course on how to make movies and did a project called Attack of the killer eggs. I starred in it and also got direct a scene. Later at Concord High School, I joined the first class of film making and learned different process including claymation. My last two years of high school I went to the Elkhart Area Career Center for Radio/Television and learned how to run a radio station, make a tv show, run studio cameras, and edit on older editing equipment (the kind where you had to manually use the two dial to track where you wanted to cut the clip). I also like comic books, video games, table top role playing games, live action role playing games, and unlike most people I don't fear clowns (I never understood this specific fear. I feel it is more media induced but I could be wrong). My current list of favorite movies include Scott Pilgrim vs the world and Wreck-it Ralph. I have a long list of TV shows I like. I know at the top of my list currently is The Flash, Gotham, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Arrow. I am also a huge pro wrestling fan (yes I know it is fake. Interesting fact most stuff on TV is fake because it is all things made up and done by actors but you still enjoy it). Don't talk to me about football because I don't care. Any media without restrictions, most likely TV shows or movies. My goals are to make it in the film industry but I know I won't just be able to jump to the deep end. I will have to wade in from the shallow end and work my way over. I am interested in making media because I keep hearing there is no new ideas. They keep saying Hollywood has run out of interesting stuff to do. I think with all the new technology becoming available and the right minds there are plenty of unexplored ideas the movie industry has not hit upon yet.
